In 2013, I celebrated 50 years as a jazz double bassist. From my earliest years in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario where, thanks to the late Dave Drew, I had the immense pleasure of performing with such wonderful musicians as Barry Wills, Bernie Carroll, John Tank, Dave Wiffen, Evan Graham, Lawrence Crawford, Fred Boegli, and so many, many others, I was able, and encouraged, to approach my music with dedication and passion. That passion for the integrity of my music is even stronger today.

After making my home in the Picton - Belleville area of Eastern Ontario for the past 28 years, I returned to Kitchener-Waterloo in 2015. I still manage to work out each day on my beautiful hand-carved instrument, and occasionally add something new to my ‘Tunebook’ of original compositions.

Among the newer compositions is a suite of tunes and soundscapes reflecting the nuances of Prince Edward County, titled, 'County Sketches.'
